COURSE CONTRACT

Cancellations, Refunds and Rescheduling Policies

  • No Refund Policy: Refunds are not offered under any circumstances. If cancellation occurs with proper notice, a transfer to the next class is permitted. Exceptions for emergencies (such as illness) will be considered on a case-by-case basis with proper documentation. However, a transfer will still only apply to future class dates.
  • Should I need to reschedule a Laser class within 14 days or less, a rescheduling fee of $250 will be charged as supplies have been ordered, space has been reserved and models have been scheduled.
  • 7-Day Notice Requirement: Students must notify us at least 7 days before the class date if they need to cancel their registration. If notice is given within this timeframe, students may transfer to the next available class without additional fees.
  • Late Cancellation Fee: If a student cancels within less than 7 days of the scheduled class, they will be required to pay a $50 rescheduling fee before being allowed to attend a future class.
  • How to Cancel or Pay the Fee: All cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made directly through Aesthetics Academy by contacting our team at [email protected]. Once the cancellation is confirmed and, if applicable, the fee is paid, the student will be registered for the next available class.

Pre-Class and Certification Requirements

  • Must complete all pre-work before the class and submit it for instructor review.
  • Must finish all case studies (where applicable) before certification is granted.
  • You are not obligated to receive a certificate of completion until the assigned instructor feels comfortable with my skill level. Additional models/applications may be required in front of instructor AND/ OR on my own before certificate may be given. My completed course certification is entirely at the instructor’s discretion.

Model Responsibilities

  • Most classes do not require students to provide their own models. In most cases, Aesthetics Academy will coordinate and arrange models to ensure they are properly screened and prepared for treatment.
  • Many of our classes are structured as a “give and get,” meaning students should arrive prepared to both perform and receive services.
  • If a specific course requires you to secure your own model, you will receive detailed written instructions prior to class. Please do not arrange a model unless you are explicitly directed to do so.
  • Certification cannot be completed without the appropriate number of models.

Classroom Etiquette

  • Must show up on time and stay for the entire duration of the class.
  • Cell phones must be turned off, and calls/messages can only be handled during breaks.
  • No recording or reproduction of any part of the class without permission from the instructor.
  • No reproduction of materials provided by Aesthetics Academy of Idaho without permission.
  • Information learned in the class cannot be used in personal training class/program for a period of 1 year.

Media and Marketing Consent

  • Aesthetics Academy of Idaho has permission to use photos taken during class, including student work, for marketing and educational purposes. Credit will be given for student work shared on social media.

Legal and Age Requirement

  • Students must be at least 18 years old to enroll independently.
  • Students who are 16–17 years old may enroll with signed consent from a parent or legal guardian, who must agree to the course contract.
  • This is a binding contract.

Zoom Class Participation Requirements

  • Camera On and Active Participation: Students must keep their cameras on throughout the entire class. If technical issues arise, they must troubleshoot or switch to another device to maintain participation.
  • Introduction and Engagement: All participants must introduce themselves at the beginning of the class and actively engage through responses, questions, or discussions during the session.
  • Certification Requirements: Certificates will only be issued if the student participates fully, demonstrates the required skills, and complies with class guidelines. Certification may be withheld if participation standards are not met.
  • Prohibition on Recording: Recording the class in any form is strictly prohibited. Additionally, no recordings will be provided to students. Attendance in real time is required to receive credit for the class.
  • Virtual students are required to complete a model for most classes. However, they do not perform the treatment live during the virtual session.
After the class concludes and in-person students begin their hands-on model work, virtual students may complete their model independently on their own time. Once finished, they must submit a video of their treatment for instructor review and approval. Feedback and any necessary critiques will be provided after the review process. Certification will be issued once the model requirement has been successfully completed and approved.

Class and Certification Policy Compliance

  • By registering for a class, students acknowledge and agree to these terms and conditions. These policies are in place to maintain fairness, professionalism, and the quality of instruction.

Class Location Acknowledgment & Refund Policy

  • I understand that it is my responsibility to confirm the location of the class I am registering for. I acknowledge that in-person classes are held in Boise, Idaho; San Antonio, Texas; or Rio Rancho, New Mexico, unless otherwise stated. No refunds will be issued due to misunderstandings about the class location.
  • If I register and later realize I cannot attend the in-person class, I will be transferred to the Zoom (online) version of the class, when available.
  • If a refund is granted under exceptional circumstances, a 10% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount to cover credit card and booking fees.
