Q: Can I be an esthetics or cosmetology student and take these classes?
Yes. The only requirement is that you must have gone through your first 100 hours prior to class date.
Q: Can nurses or medical professionals take these classes?
Yes. We love having medical professionals in the class. We recommend taking the Facial Basics course also to learn the basics of giving a amazing facial in addition to the more medical aesthetics side of the business. Learning how to cleanse the face and the proper skincare steps is important.
Q: How big are the classes?
We only allow a maximum of 16 students per class in person for each hands on class.
Q: If I attend via zoom do I still get to work on a model?
Yes. An instructor will be watching as you follow along while the in person students preform treatments on their models. It’s just like being right in the class.
Q: Do you take payments?
We offer PayPal payments however it is done directly through PayPal. Full price of the class is due upon signing up.
Q: Can I write off this class on my taxes?
Yes. This is a business expense. It can absolutely be written off, the class as well as kit and supplies and any expenses to travel to the class.
Q: Will there be someone to answer my questions after class?
Yes. We are constantly checking texts, emails and answering student questions. You can also post in the private student FB group and have your peer help answer any questions you may have.
Q: Will I get a certificate?
Yes. Every class comes with a professional certificate of completion that can be used to show proof of education to your insurance company or hung to display to clients.
Q: How long are the classes?
Each class is different but typically plan on 4 hours per class unless otherwise stated. Laser plan for two 9 hour days. You will get a welcome email once you sign up with all the specifics.
Q: What do I do if I don’t get a welcome email after signing up?
This happens sometimes when it gets filtered out to your spam folder. Please feel free to reach out to us at marti@aestheticsacademyofidaho.com.
Q: Can I bring snacks/lunch to class?
Yes. We encourage you to bring anything you might need. We have a fridge and microwave for student use and we supply water and coffee/tea.
Q: Who teaches each class?
We have three different educators that teach certain classes. Each instructor is a licensed aesthetician who currently works in the field daily. Each instructor has been carefully chosen to teach that specific class based on expertise.
Q: Do you give refunds?
No. If you can not attend a class that you have scheduled, due to any reason, you are able to take the very next class on that subject. If you need to leave a class in the middle of class for any reason the same rule as above applies. Once you have a certificate from us, you are allowed to retake any class at any time at no charge.
Q: Do I have to be in the beauty/medical profession to take the business class?
No. Everyone is welcome, from any industry.
